Is nutritional therapy the right approach for me?
If you’re ready for new ways of thinking about your health, willing to explore and experiment a little, nutritional therapy is here to help you. It’s a holistic approach where you’ll start to heal your body step by step by using nourishing foods.
It’s not a quick fix to any of your symptoms because as your body became vulnerable over time, it also needs some time to recover. By eating the healthiest foods – whole grains, potatoes, legumes, fruits & veg, nuts & seeds, you’ll regain your health and balance again. But don’t worry, if you happen to hate beetroot or kale, I won’t force you to eat them. I promise!
Is it going to work?
Nutritional therapy is a ‘rolled-up sleeves’ type of approach which does require some effort. But the motto is progress not perfection! Sometimes it can be the smallest change in your eyes which makes the biggest difference to the way you feel. It all depends on your body and its biochemistry.
I can promise you that if you adjust your diet in the way we agree upon, you’ll see improvements in your body and mind. Depending on how far you go and how big the changes you make, you’ll get the results you want.
How much time is it going to take?
You’ll need time for the actual sessions when we meet and for working with your action sheets. If you opt for the food diary option, you’ll need additional time for keeping your food diary (1 week after the follow up).
You’ll also spend extra time by planning your menu (especially if the meals are new to you) and by thinking more about what to buy and how to cook. However, I’m here to help you every step of the way. I use specific tools which help you step by step to make the changes and fit them into your lifestyle. I’ll help you solve any issues you may have with the new foods or if you ever feel stuck. By the end of your sessions when you become a PRO it’ll all be second nature.
BUT if you’re juggling a new job right now, renovating your house and planning to go on holiday, it’s better to wait ’til it all settles down. That way you’ll make the best use of the sessions as well as your time.
Do I need to be vegetarian/vegan?
Even though the nutritional sessions are focused on natural plant foods, which I recommend as the best shortcut to your health, if you wish to eat animal products it’s your choice and I respect that. I’ll make some suggestions but I’m here to support and work with you so you feel happy about yourself, your diet and moving towards your goals at the same time.
I’m vegetarian/vegan already, will this still help me?
Using natural plant foods as a form of therapy is more complex than eating a vegetarian or vegan diet. It’s about using unprocessed, whole plant foods as they grew out in nature, so you bring your health and vitality to life.
The truth is that you can eat soy burgers, chips and drink coke while protecting animal welfare and our planet. But then you’re leaving out your own welfare.
So, if you happen to worry about whether you get enough Calcium, Iron or protein, if you’re feeling tired, your skin is puffy and you often feel bloated, I’ll be very happy to help you.
I know how to eat healthily, can I still benefit?
Sometimes we think we have all the answers to our problem but the problem still doesn’t go away. If you have been wishing to change something about your body and health for some time but feel stuck in one place, the chances are that something you do isn’t working for you.
Together we will discover what those “setting back” habits are. I’ll help you change them and build on your knowledge. Nothing will stop you from getting what you’ve always wanted.
Do I have to make big changes?
The sessions are all about you and your expectations. While I’m here to guide you and make suggestions, you’ll tell me how fast you want to go.
With that in mind it’s always good to be open and ask yourself: How big are your goals? Where are you today? What do you want to change and where do you want to be a few weeks from now?
Generally, the bigger the changes you make, the bigger and faster the results you can expect. To make big changes at the start can be overwhelming but also the most encouraging and a real booster.
Can I bring my spouse/friend along?
The time for your session is precious and there is always a tonne of work to be done. I’d love you to take home with you as much information as possible along with a clear understanding of what and how to do. At the same time it’s important that you feel relaxed and comfortable and if that includes your partner or friend being present, it’s no problem.
Simply make a note of that when booking your session and we’ll make it work.
Where are the sessions held and how will I get there?
The sessions are held in our office at 137 Moyville, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. You can see the location here. There is free parking available.

How do I make a booking?
First pick the nutritional session you like. Then drop me a mail at email@example.com when you would like the session to happen. I’ll check the availability and will either confirm or suggest some alternative date.
How do I pay for a session?
You can pay on the day of your session.
What if I can't make my appointment?
If you can’t make your appointment simply contact me on my mail or phone with a new date and time you prefer and I’ll change it for you.
If something suddenly comes up, please be so kind and let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
Is there any form of guarantee in place?
Yes. When you buy the Plant Happy Package and if after the initial appointment (70 min) you believe this isn’t something you can or want to do, write me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If this is within 7 days after the initial session you’ll get 60% of the money you paid, back to your bank account within a week of your notice. This applies ONLY to the Plant Happy Package.
Are follow ups important?
When the initial session is over you start changing your diet as we agreed on. Along the way you’ll come across some challenges, some questions will pop up and you might look for clarification of what seemed obvious before. A follow up is here not only to develop what we did together during the initial but also to give you confidence that you’re on the right track. It’ll encourage and motivate you so you keep going. To make the most of your plant happy coaching I recommend you go for at least one follow up.
When is the best to have a follow up?
Generally, it’s three to four weeks after you’ve had your initial session. The first week usually falls into shopping, planning and preparing for the next week when you want to start your plant happy journey. You may decide to give yourself at least two – three weeks to practice your nutritional plan and then go for the first follow up. If you’re going for the second follow up, give yourself a gap of another 3 weeks.
